I needed a bunch of locks re-keyed and called Jake. The business is actually owned by a guy name Dan. In any event, Dan gave me an estimate over the phone of his rates and came right away to check out the job and give a more detailed estimate. I hired him to do the work and he started right away. He seemed incredibly knowledgeable and trustworthy which is what you want in a locksmith! I had to order some locks and he came back as soon as I received them to install them. His rates were very reasonable and he went above and beyond to accommodate me. I would definitely recommend him. And lest you think this is a review from someone who knows him, I literally never met him before and hired him just based on his location and rates. He really was great.

We had 2 high quality Baldwin door fixtures that were over 30 years with springs that were so weak they would only hold the closed door every weakly if at all. Dan ,owner of Jakes, recognized what needed to be replaced and now everything works well. The bill was very reasonable and response time and follow up very good. We would highly recommend this company!

After seeing good online reviews, I just called Jake the Locksmith to come out for an accidentally locked door in our house. Dan was able to come out immediately, opened the door and has since left. All within 45 minutes. Great service and reasonably priced. Would recommend.
